Doing nothing in January

I’m sitting in front of my computer very much wanting to do something rock and roll like chuck the damn thing out the window.
I. Hate. Working on computers. I would much rather do something more tangible with pens, paper, paint, print than click and drag and search around the labyrinth of files in my computer. This is why I changed from Graphic Design to Fine Art Education when I was very nearly finished with my degree. I had an epiphany. ‘I really hate this.’ And I walked out of the room.
For January, I am making myself venture into learning new programmes to move my art along. Argh! It’s a torture to me. So, I’m not really producing anything, but hoping all of this will lead to something interesting.
To balance computer face time, I’ve picked up my watercolours and am creating quick little paintings. It’s such a relief to do this. And a joy.

I am an artist living and working in a rather gorgeous city. My art can be purchased in various shops throughout the city as well as from my online shop. Most of my work is for commission, private and corporate. I am the founder of Crash Course in Art History Limited.
